You Can Meet Me Live On The Same Day

I’m throwing it out. What would you like from me? You normally only ‘meet me’, through the written word. What would you like from me face-to-face?

I’m planning on doing a reading from one of my stories. What would you like me to read? You can choose anything out of my published works: an excerpt, a short story, even a poem. I’ll look through your suggestions and pick something out.

However… Lol!

… I have to warn you, I don’t have an elegant speaking voice. I wish I did. I listen with envy to the likes of Fenella Fielding with her tones that drip chocolate and sex.

 

I’d give three inches off my chest measurements for a voice like that…

Alas, unlike the sultry Fenella, my accent is broad Yorkshire. As I write the words, they sound great in my head. But not at all the same when they emerge from my mouth. Lol!

This is the main reason I don’t even consider doing my own narration for Charlotte. I’d kill the poor girl dead before I’d finished the first page.
