I gobbled this up! Charlotte's very special summer with Michael (her Golden Lover) and her Master (James) is yet another exquisite sample of Simone's Leigh's mastery of erotica. I generally don't read BDSM because I have problems accepting the role that women play. Leigh's fiction is an exception. Her very graphic description of what goes on in this summer retreat is so convincing, I can't help wondering whether this is really only fiction or writing from experience. In any case, brilliantly done. Michael's dirty talk to Charlotte is the best I've read anywhere so far. And as always, Simone Leigh doesn't just string together a series of love scenes but presents a plot full of emotion and twists that leave me spellbound. I received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review. Honestly, if you don't read this book, there'll be something missing about your entire summer!
