Prey – Simone continues to weave pieces from Charlotte and Klempner’s past that affects everyone in the present. Klempner takes the main stage in this book as he works on finding the source of his troubles, but all characters play a part deciphering clues. You can’t hate Klempner completely, as he tries to keep his daughter’s extended family safe. It makes you wonder if Klempner will ever leave his past behind. Anxiously awaiting Fatale!

Predator – Simone is the Queen of cliffhangers! Predator brings us back to the fact that one of Charlotte’s kidnappers is still out there. Klempner is a fugitive in hiding knowing the danger he brings to his family by remaining with them, but possibly wanting something more. Charlotte’s men are still in protective mode of their ever increasing family knowing there is possibly danger around the corner. I was thrilled to read this next installment and did not want the last page to turn over. Waiting for the next book is painful, because anxious to know how the cliffhanger will play out
