5 Stars: Once again it’s brilliant. After the ending of Shadow of Obsession I wondered where Charlotte’s Search would take her. After the revelation in the last book, Charlotte became withdrawn (understandably) and it was only when her master took hold of the situation, the way that he does best, was she able to come herself again. Charlotte continues her search for her mother and gets help from an unexpected source and also something that was special to Mitch. With James and Michaels support she is taken on yet another rollercoaster with an ending I never saw coming. This was an amazing, suspenseful book, which ended on another cliffhanger nd I am counting down the days until the next one arrives. Definitely not a stand-alone but I can recommend it highly, read the series, you will not be disappointed.

5 Stars: Oh Simone! How I do not want this to end but you are doing a fine job wrapping everything up and giving us new questions to ponder. You are an amazing writer. Thank you! This book has so many feels for Charlotte, James and Michael - anguish, good times, high 🔥🔥🔥🔥. Loved it!

5 Stars: Charlotte gets closer to discovering her past Simone is one of my top ten authors! I am beyond hooked on this series and this one does not disappoint with doling out more bits of the puzzle that is Charlotte’s past. But will James and Michael be able to snap Charlotte out of her recent discovery? You have to read to find out and won’t put the book down until the last page. More please!

5 Stars: Where do I begin? I can't give any spoilers in this review. If you're like me, you've waited too long to see where all the puzzle pieces fit and you want to read every delicious word yourself. We know for sure Charlotte finds out who her biological father is. That was a shocker in itself. For Charlotte too. I was tickled to see Benny show back up in this one and see him get a much needed break. Although Charlotte is still going back and forth to the prison to see Klempner I'm no longer sure what to trust after the bombshell exploded in this book. I'm going to stick with my original assumption, and we know what happens when we assume, that Klempner isn't everything he seems. I have the impression there are a number of things that aren't as they seem, but I'm patiently waiting to see what comes next. I had chill bumps run down my arms and legs with this one. A toast to Simone Leigh! 5 stars and a clink of imaginary champagne flutes in a silent celebration.
