5 Stars: This is an absolutely fantastic read! The plot carries on flawlessly from the previous book and there are so many different scenarios that I don’t want to have to wait for the next installment to find out what’s happening. All of our favourite characters from this series are in play at the moment and the tension is extremely high plus there’s still a mystery that hasn’t been solved! This shall have you physically sitting on the edge of your seat. This whole series has been amazing, and this part has so much tension and intrigue to it. Once you start reading this then you have no choice but to read it cover to cover and be prepared for a huge cliffhanger! This is a favourite author of mine and I hope she isn’t planning on keeping us waiting too long for the next book in the series. 5 Stars: I waited until the very last minute to read and review this book. Not because I don't absolutely love Simone Leigh's writing, but because I knew it was getting closer and closer to getting answers about Mitch, Frank, and Klempner along with whatever was transpiring with out triad. And I was right! So many blanks filled in. My heart is racing because this ended with a cliffhanger that brought on a surge of adrenaline. Big breath, I can't give you any information. I just won't do it. Just know you don't want to miss this one. We are building to the climax and it's just about here! I'd so give this more than 5 stars but that's all they allow.

5 Stars: It is hard to say anything about this book without risking spoilers, so I will just say this: It. Is. Fantastic. Simone Leigh continues to fill in more of Charlotte's story with each book, while still withholding details we want to know. It's thrilling, suspenseful, exciting, and - yes - frustrating. (Simone, you are evil.^^) Each book leaves me breathless and even more eager for the next one. Simone Leigh is an excellent storyteller, and she never leaves you wanting...well, except for wanting the next book. More. Soon. Please. 5 Stars: Her Mother's Love, On the edge of my seat. Wow!! I just couldn't put this down. Not that I could any of the other books in her series. It has the cliffhanger of all cliffhangers. This is the most thriller-like of all the other episodes in the series. It is all the more interesting, since the series started out as a really hot BDSM ménage à trois novel which blossomed into an all encompassing insight into the lives and past of all the characters in it, I like to call it a saga. This instalment has several arrrgh,' moments as their story unfolds, as well as the uncertainty, the emotional upheaval, and finally through experiencing some horrors during some scenes, we are left with a suspense I never thought would remain hanging in the air. I find it a bit hard to review this penultimate book in this series without giving anything away. The author is a very gifted writer who is well able to tap into the psyche of the reader as they follow and develop a relationship almost with the characters. This book is a good example of what a writer with a good imagination, an excellent command of the language and a great emotional insight can create. A story is never boring or flat in her care. You'll love this book, I'm certain. I can't wait to get my hands on part 9.
